PURPOSE:To prevent damage to peripheral apparatus installed on the line, such as instrument and filter, by keeping the pressure in pipe constant using an actuator furnished at the pipe end, and by suppressing pressure variation (pulsation) in the pipe. CONSTITUTION:An actuator consisting of a piston 4 and a cylinder 5 is installed at the end of a fuel inlet pipe 1 and also at the end of outlet pipe 2 to absorb pressure variation in the pipe through such motions interlocked with the cam shaft 3 that a piston 4 drawout, when the pressure in pipe has risen, and a retraction when the pressure has sunk, is repeated for the times corresponding to the number of cylinders (number of fuel pumps 8) per cylinder per revolution of engine. |
