The Car Security System warns of a car being stolen or broken into by means of a signal sent from hardware 2, 3 in the vehicle to a Visual Display Unit in a Police Station via a Mulitplex signal 9. The signal is sent when the owner fails to input his personal code within twenty seconds into a Key-pad 1 located in the dashboard. The signal is received in the Police Station, de-coded 6, logged 7 and displayed on the Visual Display Unit 8. In addition a one-way speech microphone 2a may be installed in the vehicle. The system is also activated if the Key-pad is disconnected. If the rear windscreen was broken the signal would be routed via the front windscreen or other suitable places on the vehicle that may be used to transmit the signal. <IMAGE> |
