PURPOSE:To prevent a cutting point from the generation of a flaw or the like and to obtain a smooth cutting surface of high quality by pressing and sliding a cutter wire edge like sawing and breaking a core by the tensile force of the core in its longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:The cutter wire edge 12 on which a super hard fine grain layer consisting of diamond or the like is formed is stretched by a cutter supporting part 15 and an attraction chip 18 of the supporting part 15 is inserted into a cylindrical electromagnet 17. When a locking electromagnet 23 is excited to break a core, the supporting part 15 is rotated in the arrow 24 direction, so that the core 1 is stretched between fixing tools 2, 3 and tensile force is applied to the core 1 by a sliding mechanism 6. When the magnetism of the electromagnet 23 is erased the wire edge 12 is descended, and when the electromagnet 17 is excited, the line edge 12 is pressed and slided like sawing and the core 1 is broken by the tensile force. |
