PURPOSE:To stabilize an ink jet by providing a vibration damper on an outside surface of a substrate of an ink jet recording head. CONSTITUTION:A flow path plate 2 of an ink jet recording head is provided with pressure chambers 2a, guide paths 2b and nozzles 2c formed by photographic etching. A substrate 1, the flow path plate 2 and a vibration plate 3 are joined by a diffusion welding, and piezoelectric elements 4 are bonded respectively to the upper portions of the four pressure chambers 2a at the outside of the vibration plate 3. Rigid bodies 5 are pasted with resin adhesive 6 at the portions facing the pressure chambers 2a on the outer surface of the substrate 1. By the rigid bodies 5 the high frequency components within the parasitic oscillation generated in the pressure chambers are suppressed. Generation of bubbles in ink due to cavitation is thus prevented. |
