PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of discharge pressure by varying the thickness of the vane part of the blade of a vane pump. CONSTITUTION:The blades 36A-36F of a vane pump are formed so that each thickness of the vane parts 37A-37F is different at the top edge side and the basic edge side. Since the discharge pressure of the vane pump can be varied by varying the thickness of the top edge side vane parts 37A-37F, the blades 36A-36F having the vane parts 37A-37F having a variety of thickness are provided. Therefore, an arbitrary discharge pressure can be obtained by installing each blade 36A-36F having the vane part 37A-37F having each constant thickness onto the blade installation groove 35 of a rotor 27 in case of necessity. |
