PURPOSE:To increase bonding strength of prepreg with scrim cloth by a method wherein the scrim cloth is lapped over one side of reinforced fiber arranged in a sheet form and then a resin-carrying sheet is put over either side, heated and pressurized. CONSTITUTION:The reinforced fiber 2 arranged in one direction, in parallel with each other and in the form of sheet is drawn out of the package 1 and then the scrim cloth 4 is put on either side of this reinforced fiber 2. Subsequently, the resin-carrying sheets 7, 8 are put on each other with their resin layers inside, passed between a pair of heating and pressure rollers 9, and the reinforced fiber 2 is impregnated with resin to form prepreg. Releases paper 7b only is peeled from one of two resin-carrying sheets 7, 8, preferably, lapped scrim cloth. |
