PURPOSE:To facilitate the molding operation with low viscosity and reduce the strain and anisotropy of mechanical properties due to the orientation of glass fibers by a method wherein the predetermined glass fibers are blended with the melt of omega-lactam containing polymerization catalyst or polymerization cocatalyst. CONSTITUTION:In order to manufacture a polyamide resin molded part, glass fibers, 3% by weight of which has the fiber length of less than 25mum and 30% by weight of which has the fiber length of more than 300mum and at the same time the wight-average fiber length of which lies in the range of 75-125mum, are blended with either one or both of the melt of omega-lactam containing polymerization catalyst and the melt of omega-lactam containing polymerization cocatalyst so as to be injected or poured in a mold in order to form a molded part. If the glass fibers, the fiber length of which is less than 25mum, is used more than 3% by weight, the improvement of the rigidity of the resultant molded part is not enough. If the glass fibers, the fiber length of which is more than 300mum, is used more than 30% by weight, the viscosity of composition rises and consequently the external appearance of the resultant molded part is lowered. |
