PURPOSE:To reduce vibration of platen and noise which are generated by an impact, by providing a hard elastic layer on the outer periphery of a stiff rotatable base of a platen. CONSTITUTION:The rotatable base 1 for constituting a solid cylindrical platen and a rotary shaft 1A are formed as one body from a stiff vibration-damping material. The ahrd elastic layer 2 is provided along the outer-peripheral surface of the base 1. Accordingly, noise and vibration generated surface of the base 1. Accordingly, noise and vibration generated on an impact in printing can be markedly reduced by the rotatable base 1. |
