PURPOSE:To prepare foam without generating chip waste, by foaming a foamable stock solution in the upwardly directed C-shaped receiving trough of an endless running conveyor to the thickness direction at a foaming speed slower than a free foaming speed and also foaming the same positively to the lateral direction. CONSTITUTION:An eldless running conveyor having an upwardly directed C- shaped long receiving through provided to the upper surface thereof is allowed to run at a constant speed. Said receiving trough consists of a large number of continuous slats 3 and a pair of side plates 4 uprightly provided to both end regions of each slat in a freely detachable manner. A foamable stock solution is continuously supplied to said receiving trough 5 and foaming reaction is performed. The side plates 4 are widened to the lateral direction with the advance of foaming reaction and the foamable stock solution is also positively foamed to the lateral direction while foamed to the thickness direction at a foaming speed slower than the free foaming speed thereof by a loading apparatus 12. |
