PURPOSE:To manufacture a plate material which has an excellent printing durability of a toner image even in a direct printing and has less changes with time at a low cost, by closely bonding and heat treating a special liquid organic compound on a surface of a silicone coated plate material. CONSTITUTION:A liquid of an organic compound which has polar groups in which O, N, S, P, etc. are included in molecules, and has a boiling point of 120 deg.C or above (under the normal atmospheric pressure) and a molecular weight of 1,000 or under, is made a thin film, utilizing a smooth surface, and is closely brought in contact with the kept on a surface of a plate material on which a silicone composition which has an image material adhesiveness is coated. Then, a heat treatment is performed for five seconds or more, under the conditions stated above, at 100-250 deg.C. By the above process a stability with time of a printing durability of a plate material is remarkably improved, resulting in a greater printing durability even in a direct printing. |
