PURPOSE:To prevent the rear section of a vehicle body from protruding outward during steering operation, by recording a locus of a fixed point in the front section of the vehicle body which is obtained during the vehicle running, and by controlling the steering of rear wheels such that the fixed point follows up the locus. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle including front wheels 101 steered by a steering mechanism in a mechanical link type or a power type steering unit, and rear wheels 102 steered by a hydraulic actuator, etc, which is controlled by a servo- valve, there is provided a detecting means 103 for detecting the actual steering angle of the front wheels 101. Further, there is provided a recording means 104 for recording the locus of fixed point A in the front section of the vehicle which is obtained during the vehicle running. Further, there is provided a control means for controlling the steering angle of rear wheels 102 such that a fixed point in the rear section of the vehicle follows up the locus of the fixed point A during the vehicle running. |
