PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of each storage device by providing a page table to a main storage and executing the trouble processing through a service processor in response to the designation of said page table and according to the prescribed shares of both the 1st and 2nd service processors. CONSTITUTION:The 1st service processor 21 can execute the diagnosis programs stores in an external storage device 20 and a main storage 10. When the accesses are given to both devices 10 and 20, a page table register 200 is used together with an execution address register 201, a page table 203 and an absolute address register 205. Then the accesses is given to the device 20 when the memory indication bit is equal to '0' with production of an absolute address. While the device 10 is accessed when said indication bit is equal to '1' respectively. While the processor 21 reads a diagnosis program out of the device 20 for execution of diagnosis with the device 10 or a main storage controller 11. Then the result of this diagnosis is informed to a processor 30. |
