PURPOSE:To easily add an automatic discriminating function for discriminating a tape for appreciation from a 'KARAOKE' (recorded instrumental accompaniment) tape and a lyric displaying function to the titled device by receiving a lyric display signal outputted from a detecting means and displaying lyrics. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic tape R is a 'KARAOKE' tape, the detecting means M2 connected to a speaker connecting terminal T0 of a reproducing means M1 detects that a speaker output signal outputted from an output terminal T0 is a lyric signal and then outputs the 1st detecting signal. The detecting means M2 detects the operating state of the reproducing device M1 and generates the 2nd detecting signal. Receiving the 1st detecting signal, a display means M3 displays lyrics reproduced by the reproducing means M1 on the screen of a display device, and at the reception of the 2nd detecting signal, erases the display of the lyrics from the screen. A switching means M4 can switch performance reproduced by the reproducing means M1 to stereo reproducing or monaural reproducing, and at the input of the 1st detecting signal, switches the stereo reproducing to the monaural reproducing. An amplifying means M5 amplifies an arithmetic signal and outputs the amplified signal to a speaker S. |
