PURPOSE:To shift a copy image in position freely and to improve the precision of the movement distance by starting the rotation of a timing roller for the timing of paper feed by the scanning of an optical system and generating the signal for the start by the combination of an origin detection switch for an optical system and a program search sensor switch. CONSTITUTION:When an image neither advances nor moves, the optical system begins to move simultaneously with copying operation and the timing roller 12 begins to rotate a specific counted time after the operation of the program search sensor 21; and the image is not moved when TA is counted or moved forth when the timing roller 12 rotates >=TA behind. In this case, the time is counter from the operation of the program search sensor 21 to perform the image movement precisely. When the image is moved back, an equal-speed unit makes a preliminary scan from the origin sensor 25 to the program search sensor 21 previously and the image is scanned previously after the time is measured. |
