PURPOSE:To enable the quick thawing of noodles, by placing a thawing- acceleration plate dividing a direct-heating hot-water pot vertically into two parts, attaching a removable mesh basket on the plate and placing a hot-water drain hole under the mesh basket. CONSTITUTION:The hot-water pot 11 heated directly with a heat source such as gas burner 10 is divided into the upper chamber A and the lower chamber B with a thawing-acceleration plate 12. The chamber A can held a plurality of mesh baskets 13. The plate is bored with hot-water drain holes 15 corresponding to the position of each mesh basket 13. Water is poured into the chambers A and B in the hot-water pot 11 and boiled by heating with the burner 10. Heat is accumulated in the hot water in the chamber A and the hot-water droplet is accumulated to the lower face of the thawing-acceleration plate 12. When the density of the hot-water droplets on the lower face of the plate 12 reaches the critical level, hot water is gushed through the hole 15 toward the frozen noodles 20 in the mesh basket 13 positioned just above the hole 15. The hot water is penetrated into the gap between the noodle strings of the frozen noodles by the gushing force, and the thawing of noodles can be carried out in extremely short time by the heat retained by the hot water. |
