PURPOSE:To realize automation of electric discharge machining by providing the electric discharge machine with an amplitude measuring unit, a frequency measuring unit, an amplitude judging unit, a frequency judging unit and a gain modification command unit and thus by automatically controlling the gain. CONSTITUTION:The amplitude and frequency are measured in an amplitude measuring unit 13 and frequency measuring unit 12 despectively from the output of a linear scale 10 of the spindle. The measured values are input to an amplitude judging unit 14 and frequency judging unit 15 respectively for comparison with the specified value. A signal is input to a gain modification command unit 16 which adjusts the gain of the control system in accordance with the result of the comparison. Then the most suitable vector is delivered from the gain modification command unit 16 to a pulse motor 11 and move a variable resistance 7 for adjusting the gain. |
