PURPOSE:To reduce a leak amount in a valve, by mounting a sealing disc to a valve poppet, fitting the disc into a valve seat, and then heating, cooling and durving a peripheral end part of the sealing disc along an internal surface of the valve seat. CONSTITUTION:A sealing disc 7 is punched by a press into dimensions with its external diameter a little larger than an internal diameter of a seat 9, fixed by calking through a retainer 8 to a poppet 5 and assembled to the seat 9. Under this condition, the sealing disc 7 is held for a certain time at suitable temperature, and then if forcibly or naturally cooled, the sealing disc 7 causes a condition heated and formed to plate shape, then its tendency to restore the initial shape is extremely decreased. Accordingly, the sealing disc 7 can be heated and formed in accordance with the internal diameter of the combined seat 9, to obtain a sealing condition with a remarkably small amount of leakage. |
