<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a corrosion resistive steel sheet pile at low cost, while using an ordinary plastic sheet as a corrosion resistive sheet by a method in which the plastic sheet with thermal adhesion property is pressed and stuck closely onto the surface of the sheet pile with uniform pressurizing force, and its welding part by heating is continuously extended from the center of the closely stuck surface between the plastic sheet and the sheet pile to its peripheral part. CONSTITUTION:After a steel sheet pile 1 has been covered with polyethylene sheet 2, a pressurizing jig 3 is connected and fixed to the sheet pile 1, connecting a clamp 12 to the joint of the sheet pile 1. Next, air is sent into a pressurizing chamber 8, and its inner pressure is set at about 2kg/cm<2>. By elevating said inner pressure, a rubber film 6 is expanded, and the polyethylene sheet 2 is pressed and stuck closely against the sheet pile 1 with uniform pressure. While keeping this state, an electric heater 15 is energized and the sheet pile 1 is heated to high temperature. By heating the sheet pile 1, the welded portion of the polyethylene sheet 2 to the sheet pile 1 is gradually extended from the center in width direction to its peripheral part, whereby corrosion resistive coating becomes flat and excellent free from air bubble or air layer.</p> |
