PURPOSE:To delete the optional part of an original picture and to confirm a deleting scope by irradiating the spot light to flicker on the original picture, designating the deleting scope and deleting the charge of the deleting scope at the time of forming the picture. CONSTITUTION:The luminance of the spot light source 131 is the one which can transmit the original on an original platen 2. The spot light is flickered by the control of the main processor. Then, when the operating key is pushed down, a pulse motor 135 is driven, the light source 131 is shifted in the X direction of an arrow, and by the drive of the pulse motor not shown in the figure, the light source 131 is shifted in the Y direction. Consequently, while the operator visually watches the spot light which transmits the original and flickers, the deleting scope can be designated. The position on the original picture of the spot light is detected by counting the number of the driven pulse of the pulse motor, and by the deleting array provided at the vicinity of the photosensitive body drum at the time of forming the picture, the charge corresponding to the detected deleting scope is deleted and the unnecessary part of the original is deleted. |
