PURPOSE:To easily correct the dislocation of the recording position of a picture due to mechanical position dislocation, etc. and to obtain a good picture by providing a means which corrects the recording position of the picture on recording material. CONSTITUTION:A picture signal IM is temporarily stored at a picture memory buffer 55. A controller 51, after the value MX of a subscan adjusting dip switch 52 is converted to a correction value DELTAt and an image sensor 6 is moved in the subscanning direction and an output signal SP from a photo-interrupter 13 is detected, corrects a reference time (t) until when a read start signal RS is outputted to a gate circuit 53 and a paper feed signal PF to a printer 54. A correcting volume set by a main scanning direction adjusting dip switch 57 is converted to a bit volume DELTAalpha and the value of an offset volume (alpha) to the start position RI of a picture reading area RA is corrected and is preset at a picture reading counter 56. The picture signal of a corrected reading area RA' is outputted to the printer 54. |
