PURPOSE:To mold monolithic foamed body and prevent complication of finishing process as well as aggravation of appearance by a method wherein a core body, provided at one end of an externally protruding member, is held in a bag-like inner part and is closed by a covering skin member while expandable material is foamed in the bag-like inner part. CONSTITUTION:The skin member 14 is set in foaming molds 24, 26, which form an opening corresponding to the opening section 12 of the skin member 14, thereafter, the expandable material 28 is poured through the opening section 12 of the skin member 14 into the cavity of the bag-like inner part. The core body 20 and a stay 22 are set and the opening section 12 of the skin member 14 is closed, thereafter, the expandable material 28 is expanded to fill the bag- like cavity of the skin member 14 with the expanded body 18. According to this foaming operation, the skin members 14, 16 are bonded integrally to the expanded body 18 and the skin members 14, 16 are bonded integrally in the superposing section thereof through the expanded body 18 invaded into the superposing section while the expandable material 28 may be prevented from leaking to the outside of an outer skin 10. |
