PURPOSE:To positively trap oil drops dropping from the surface of a ventilation fan to keep the kitchen clean by providing an oil pan having a width and a depth which are greater than the horizontal section of a decorative panel at the lower part of the panel which covers the front surface of the ventilation fan and is freely opened or closed. CONSTITUTION:The main body of the ventilation fan is assembled into the wall of the room and the ventilation fan is fitted in an outer frame 2. A cover 4 is mounted on the indoor side of the outer frame 2 in a freely attachable and detachable manner and further an attachable and detachable decorative panel 6 is disposed at the front surface of the cover 4. In addition, a bellmouth 5 is provided at the lower central portion of the cover 4. Further, an oil pan 7 having a width and a depth which are greater than the horizontal section of a decorative panel 6, is provided in an attachable and detachable manner on the cover 4 at the lower part of the panel 6. When a string pulling switch P is pulled, a shutter 3 and the decorative panel are opened in linkage with the rotation of the ventilation fan and air is exhausted in the arrow direction from the inside of the room. By this operation, oil drops adhering to the panel 6 and the cover 4 are trapped by the oil pan 7 to keep the kitchen in a clean state. |
