PURPOSE:To trap wax vapor by providing a group of nozzles for ejecting gas contg. wax vapor to be passed through a duct and arranging guide member in the duct, thus expanding the passed gas adiabatically and cooling the gas by itself. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas contg. wax vapor discharged from an incineration furnace is ejected from each nozzle 3 of a nozzle group constituted of discoidal guide members 2 when the gas is introduced into the duct from a gas introducing port 1a and passed through a gas passage 4 in the duct 1. The gas is expanded adiabatically and cooled by itself. By repeating the adiabatic expansion at the nozzle group, the gas contg. the wax vapor is cooled and contained vapor is solidified to form solid wax and coagulates on the discoidal guide member 2, etc. Thus, the wax component in the gas is separated and removed from the gas. |
