<p>PURPOSE:To powerfully and tightly adhere molten particles to groove parts without being oxidized by the atm. and to densely laminate a joint material to the groove part by laminating the joint material by plasma spraying to the groove part of objects which are butted to each other in a low-pressure atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Plate-shaped works 30 of which the groove parts 32 are butted to each other are attached to a holder 21 and are set in a prescribed position by a driving device 23. The inside of an atmosphere chamber 1 is evacuated to about <=100Torr by a vacuum pump 2 and a prescribed voltage is impressed between an electrode 6 and a nozzle 8 to generate an arc 27. Gaseous argon is supplied from a working gas supply device 17 into the arc 27 to generate plasma so that a plasma jet 29 is injected from the nozzle 8 toward the groove part 32 of the works 30. The powder of the joint material is supplied in this state from a material supply hole 9 to the nozzle 8 and a plasma gun 5 is so moved by a driving device 11 as to form the laminate layer of the joint material to the groove part 32. The joint material powder ejected into the nozzle 8 is laminated in the form of fine molten drops to the groove part 32 and solidifies thereon.</p> |
