<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the maximum consumed power by providing a prohibiting control means prohibiting the operation of an auxiliary mechanism driven by the power supply of a sorter device and operates asynchronously with the sorter device during the process implementation of the sorter device. CONSTITUTION:When the rear end of a copied sheet passes a detection switch 11, a low-level detection signal is applied to a one-shot multivibrator 55, and a high-level output signal of 100ms is fed to an OR circuit 57. This time is sufficient for the sheet to be moved from the detection switch to the tip of a bin. When three signals: output signal of the vibrator 55, ascent and descent signals of the bin, are at a high level, i.e., the sorter device is in operation, a low-level signal is applied to an AND circuit 63. The solenoid 51 of the bin is stopped. Therefore, the sorter device and the electric stapler are not operated simultaneously, the maximum values of the power do not coincide, and the maximum consumed power can be reduced.</p> |
