<p>PURPOSE:To prevent effectively electrolytic corrosion of a resistor, by providing with the thin film resistor having a non-contact auxiliary electrode at least at a portion of the periphery and having connecting electrodes at both ends. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary electrode 5 surrounding the periphery of the resistor 1 is constituted independently, and a switch circuit 6 is connected to the auxiliary electrode 5. To the resistor 1, a load 7 is connected. The switch circuit 6 is constituted by diodes 61, 62 whose anodes are connected in common. The cathode of one diode 61 is connected to the positive electrode 2, and the cathode of the other diode 62 is grounded. The anode connecting point 63 of both the diodes is connected to the auxiliary electrode 5. When the potential of the voltage supplying terminal 8 is higher than the grounded potential, it is applied to the auxiliary electrode 5 through the diode 61. Since this potential is the same potential as that of the positive electrode 2, leak current may flow out of the positive electrode 2 or the auxiliary electrode 5, but can not flow out of the resistor 1. Accordingly, the electrolytic corrosion can be prevented.</p> |
