PURPOSE:To make a size of a pallet changer smaller and reducing a pallet changing time by a pallet mounting table, slide bars, and gears and actuators constructing a linear engaging portions of them in a pallet changer for a machining center and the like. CONSTITUTION:There are provided two hydraulic cylinders 25 which are directed to opposite directions each other and parallel to two guide rails 13 of a pallet mounting table 11 on a support table 12. When piston rods 25a of the hydraulic cylinder 25s advance, chains 22, 23 which engage with sprockets 24 attached to the extream ends of the piston rods cause guide bars 15 to advance a distance 2L which is twice a distance L of the piston rods 25a at a speed 2V which is twice a speed V of it. A hook 18 at thei extream end hooks a hook portion 17 of pallets P so that the pallets P are transferred from a machining table and a pallet station onto guide rails 13, respectively as the cylinders retract. Then, the table 11 is turned by 180 for delivering the pallets P to opposite sides, respectively. Next, the machining table and the pallet station lower to release the hook 18. |
