PURPOSE:To facilitate initial adjustments by providing a control means with a control function which displays the comparison result between the 1st and the 2nd voltage signals on a set image density display means as specified at the operation stage of a level adjusting means. CONSTITUTION:An A/D converter 14 has a function for converting an analog signal inputted from a terminal (c) into an 8-bit binary signal and its output binary signal is inputted to a microcomputer 15 to drive an analog switch 13, which short-circuits terminals (c) and (a) to input a reference voltage as 8-bit data. Then, the computer 15 drives the switch 13 to short-circuit terminals (c) and (b), and a voltage signal outputted from a toner concentration detection part is inputted as an 8-bit signal, thereby comparing both of them with each other. A developer having proper toner concentration is put in a developing device and the voltage signal V5 of the toner concentration detection part at this time is made coincident with the reference voltage VR as an initial adjustment. Consequently, the initial adjustment is made extremely easily while the display part of a control panel is confirmed. |
