Process for the manufacture of explosives as a thin layer. This process consists in introducing a meshed two-dimensional structure into a mould of shape and thickness corresponding to the envisaged use, in immobilising the said structure via its peripheral edge at a number of external fastening points, in preheating the mould and in pouring therein through at least one orifice a molten explosive substance which fills all the interstices included between the said two-dimensional structure and the walls of the mould, in cooling the latter and in demoulding the sheet thus obtained.
