PURPOSE:To control the tension with good accuracy by storing in the prescribed number the past approximate data by detecting the tension of a strip and by controlling the tension based on the deviation in the set value set in advance and the tension value for control with its finding. CONSTITUTION:A strip 10 is transferred and the load cell 20 arranged on a tension meter roll 16 detects the actual tension of the strip 10. A detecting signal (t) is inputted into a computer 22, which stores by sampling the actual tension value for one second prior to the time for finding the tension value T for control, and the coefficient is found by least square. The found tension value T for control is fed back to a master control panel 24 and the tension value T and set value REF are operated by a comparator 30. Based on the operation result, an armature controlling signal M is inputted into a main circuit thyristor 26 and a field control signal F into a field thyristor 28. The thyristor 26 controls the current inputted into a DC motor 14 and the thyristor 28 the current inputted to the field of the motor 14 respectively, driving a coiler 12 so as to control with good accuracy the tension of the strip 10. |
