The invention relates to a razor having a blade adjustable with respect to cutting angle and cutting height. It comprises at the end of a handle 1 a monobloc head 2 in the shape of an arch 3 one of whose branches 4, furthest from the handle 1, supports the blade 5 and whose other branch consists of a roller 6 for adjusting the cutting height; the blade 5 consists of a prismatic plate having a cross-section in the form of a right-angled triangle, the plate being made from sintered tetragonal zirconium oxide having a grain size of less than 2 micrometres, stabilised by addition of yttrium oxide Y2O3 to a content lying between 1 and 7 molecules per hundred, and sintered at a temperature of approximately 1500 DEG C. The blade 5 can be tinted, to a hue ranging from light grey to anthracite grey, by a second heat treatment, (following sintering) carried out under neutral atmosphere, for example under a flow of argon, at a maximum temperature of 1200 DEG C for a maximum duration of one hour. <IMAGE>
