PURPOSE:To reduce loads applied to a rolling mill by providing a means for connecting respective fixing members of two rolling mills relatively unmovably in the direction of rolling and bearings between said fixing members to allows a relative movement in the direction across the rolling line. CONSTITUTION:The plate-like fixing member 13 extending in an intersecting direction across the rolling line is fixed on a housing 11. Both in front and rear sides of the fixing member 13, a plate-like fixing member 15 and a sliding plate 16 are arranged parallel to the fixing member 13 through the bearing 14. these fixing member 15 and sliding plate 16 are screwed up oppositely constricting from before and behind of the fixing member 13. And the fixing member 15 is fixed to the housing 12. In this way, the vertical rolling mill and the horizontal rolling mill are combined to roll, when the housing 11 is displaced in the horizontal direction across in front and rear directions, the fixing member 13 held between the fixing member 15 and the sliding plate 16 is slid in the right or left direction to absorb the displacement. |
