PURPOSE:To control freely the cross-sectional area of a gate, by putting a reciprocating taper pin moving back and forth in a gate part which is a part of the path of flow of a molding material and by blocking up a part of the gate by the taper pin. CONSTITUTION:When one wants to enlarge the cross-sectional area of a gate 13 during molding, a driving bar 22 whose middle point is supported by a fulcrum 23 moves by moving an oil pressurized cylinder 24 to the right direction and a reciprocating taper pin 21 moves thereby to the left direction to make the cross-sectional area of the gate 13 maximum. On the contrary, to reduce the cross-sectional area of the gate, the oil pressurized cylinder 24 is moved to the left direction, the reciprocating taper pin 21 is thereby moved to the right direction and the cross-sectional area of the gate being the path of flow for the molding material is blocked up by the reciprocating taper pin to make the cross-sectional area of the gate 13 minimum. |
