PURPOSE:To perform efficiently rearranging rolls and attaching and detaching bearing box by equipping attaching and detaching mechanism for performing the attaching and detaching of the bearing box on both sides in the direction of the roll shaft. CONSTITUTION:A base stand 9 is advanced to connect a front rail to a guide rail 5, then a moving table 12 is slid to connect the front rail 15 with rear rail 16 by an exchanging rail 13. Wherein, on the exchanging rail 14, a pair of new rolls 4 equipped with previously the bearing box 6 are set. Next, a truck 17 is advanced to the front rail 15, connected with the upper and lower rolls 4 inside housing 3. Then both the rolls are pulled out together with the bearing boxes 6 on the exchanging rail 13. The moving table 12 is slid in the left direction to shift both the rolls 4. Then, frames are moved near both ends of the rolls 4, hook body is engaged with the bearing boxes 6 and moved back after removing thrust ring of the roll 4. The bearing boxes 6 of both rolls 4 are pulled out on the guide rail 18. The truck 17 is advanced to install the new roll 4 in the housings 3. |
