PURPOSE:To control the position and the speed of a motor at a high speed while holding the power factor of a power source at + or -1.0 by controlling a power converter by the value proportional to the torque current of a motor or the effective current. CONSTITUTION:A speed controller 25 outputs a torque current Iqm proportional to a torque generated from a 3-phase induction motor 3. A function generator 33 generates functions sintheta, costheta synchronized with the phase of a power source. A coordinates converter 34 calculates a command current from the functions and the torque current Iqm. A calculator 38 compares the command current with the power source current to obtain an error. The transistor of a power converter 5 is pulse-width-modulation-controller by a PWM controller 35 on the basis of the error output. |
