A pushbutton coupling for the releasable connection of dental components first of all has an anchor shaped like a male mould and having a constricted outer surface area. This anchor is releasably received with snap locking in an eyelet resembling a female mould, the inner surface area of which is formed of two mutually coaxial truncated conical surface areas which merge into one another in their planes of smallest diameter. The eyelet is made of a circular cylindrical tubular section in which the inner surface area, at most, is processed with removal of material, especially ground and/or polished, for the purpose of shaping. While being simple and precise to manufacture, the eyelet permits reversible arrangement in order to achieve a resilient or rigid seat of the anchor in the eyelet.
