PURPOSE:To shorten an addressing time by transmitting an addressing mode code in an addressing mode of a decoder and selecting automatically the addressing state of the decoder based on said mode code. CONSTITUTION:When the transmission signal is sent, an addressing operation is carried out to a decoder provided to a receiver 30 as a preceding process. This addressing operation uses a broadcast signal like the transmission signal. Here the transmission signal uses the one to which the addressing data ADA is inserted in place of the service data. A key code KC of the relevant month is put into the transmission signal. Then the information service is given only when the coincidence is secured between the code KC and the key code stored in the decoder. |
