The invention relates to a refractory, wear-resistant nozzle and an immersed nozzle consisting of a main body and of a layer in the channel for pouring aluminium-killed steels or steels which are poured just above the liquidus temperature, a layer of porous, fine-grained quartz material being connected directly to the main body.
