PURPOSE:To execute at a high speed a recurrence formula operation which has eliinated an overhard caused by an access to a vector register in a case of the recurrence formula operation, by providing a selecting means on a scalar operating part and a vector operating part, respectively. CONSTITUTION:An input data of arithmetic units 340, 341 in a scalar operating part 300 is selected from output data of scalar registers 320, 321 and outputs of vector registers 120-123, 220-223, etc. by a selecting means 330. That is to say, the data which has been stored in the vector register is inputted to the units 340, 341 of the operating part 300 by the means 330, and also a result of operation is returned directly to the units 340, 341 by the means 330. Also, a result of operation which has been obtained by the units 340, 341 is stored directly in the vector register by selecting means 110, 210 in a vector operating part 100. These operations are executed by the same timing, and a recurrence formula operation can be executed at a high speed. |
