A method for molding a honeycomb structure is provided to reduce the process time and decrease the process failure, by applying wet-type pulp molding to a molding process of the honeycomb structure. A pulp solution is inputted into an upper molding frame(161) and a lower molding frame(162) while widening a space between the upper molding frame and the lower molding frame. Pulp solids are adsorbed on molding surfaces(165,166) of the upper and lower molding frames, thereby firstly molding an upper honeycomb structure(167) and a lower honeycomb structure(168). The upper molding frame and the lower molding frame are integrally coupled to each other by a molding clamp, thereby bonding the lower honeycomb structure to the upper honeycomb structure in one body. The lower honeycomb structure has a plurality of hexagonal columns upwardly protruded from the lower molding frame. The upper honeycomb structure has a plurality of hexagonal columns downwardly protruded from the upper molding frame. A final honeycomb structure(23) is removed from the upper molding frame and the lower molding frame. |
