Process for the finishing conversion of isoindoline pigments

Isoindoline pigments undergo a finishing conversion by heat treatment of the pigment in a mixture of water and benzenemono- and/or -dicarboxylic acids. The pigment forms obtained comprise good crystals of high weather fastness which give colorations of improved colour purity.
