The invention represents a nozzle arrangement for a powerplant, which nozzle arrangement produces a modified rocket reaction thrust. The combustion jet of a high-pressure powerplant is passed into a flat, large-area chamber and is here ejected from a large number of small nozzles. The reaction thrust is also greater, corresponding to the larger reaction surface of the new chamber.
