PURPOSE:To adjust magnification and focus within a short period by forming a magnification adjusting means for moving a lens to an original, a magnification measuring means for measuring magnification, a focus adjusting means for moving an image pickup element in the focus direction of the lens, a focus deciding means, and an operating means. CONSTITUTION:Reflected light from an original is successively reflected by the 1st mirror - 3rd mirror 12, 14, 16 and then made incident upon an one- dimensional CCD (image pickup element) 20 through a lens 18. The CCD 20 is held by a CCD holding part 22 so that its position and angle are adjusted and the CCD holding part 22 and the lens 18 are fitted to a moving board 24. The magnification is adjusted by moving a moving board 24 along a guide rail 30 in the optical axis direction by a lens motor 26 through a wire 28. On the other hand, the focus is adjusted by moving the CCD holding part 22 in the optical axis direction by a focusing motor 32 fitted to the moving board 24. |
