FIELD: throwing weapons. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention provides a means for hunting, sportive and entertaining shooting and may be used for spear fishing. A throwing gun comprises a gun stock, fixed arms disposed in the front part of the stock perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis thereof, pivoted guiding and sling forming blocks and stops fixedly attached to the lower part of the stock, and a sling straightening mechanism. There are two wire cables parallelly arranged and fixedly attached to a piston. Said wire cables are sling forming ones and disposed inside a hollow cylindrical tube. The tube is mounted between the fixed stops and the fixed arms are fitted with pivoted receiving blocks mounted at a 90° angle with respect to one another onto an angle piece fixedly attached to the stock. The guiding blocks are attached to the front vertical plane of the fixed arms and there is a spring connected with two wire cables passing through the receiving, guiding and sling forming blocks. According to the first variant said sling straightening mechanism has the form of a spring that is connected with a piston and may be used both as an extension spring and a compression one. According to the second variant of the throwing gun said sling straightening mechanism has the form of a cylindrical tube being disposed between fixed stops and sealed at one of its ends and a piston with sealing gaskets. The piston together with the sealed end of the tube form an air-tight chamber fitted with a pump providing additional air exhaust, a vacuum manometer, a fast-discharge valve and a safety-lock, and there are two wire cables attached to the piston and passing through the receiving, guiding and sling forming blocks. ^ EFFECT: ensuring portability, safety and ease of use of the gun. ^ 4 cl, 7 dwg |
