PURPOSE:To eliminate the operation error on picture pattern division boundaries in case of vicinity operation of nXn by dividing picture information from a picture reading part after overlapped by an optional width and storing divided picture information in plural picture information storage parts. CONSTITUTION:Picture patterns are read by a line sensor 22 and are sent to an interface 23. They are digitized and are overlapped by an optional width and are divided into 4 picture patterns. Four divided picture patterns are stored in picture memories 24-27 through picture busses 30-33. When picture patterns are stored in picture memories 24-27, a processor 28 reads out picture patterns from individual picture memories and subjects them to various operation processings. Thus, the vicinity operation of nXn of picture patterns stored in plural picture memories is performed accurately. |
