PURPOSE:The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a polymer prepared by polymerizing a specific vinyl compound in the presence of a coordination anionic polymerization catalyst with crystalline propylene polymer and capable of remarkably improving the crystallinity without deteriorating characteristics of the propylene polymer. CONSTITUTION:A composition containing (A) crystalline propylene polymer and (B) a polymer obtained by polymerizing a vinyl compound expressed by the formula (m is an integer 0-10; R is cyclic hydrocarbon having at least one double bond expressed by the formula C=C) in the presence of a coordination anionic polymerization catalyst in an amount of 1-20,000wt. ppm expressed in terms of the vinyl compound units in the total composition. Examples of the vinyl compound in the component (B) to be used include styrene, allylbenzene, etc. The polymer of the vinyl compound to be used has >=3,000, preferably >=10,000 number-average molecular weight. Titanium trichloride catalyst and alkylaluminum are preferred for the anionic polymerization catalyst. |
