PURPOSE:To provide a high density electromagnetic head of linear arrangement enabling high resolving recording on a recording body, by using gypsum as a material for fixing an elongated electric conductor and exposing only the leading end of the elongated electric conductor to perform the supply of a current between said conductor and the recording body. CONSTITUTION:Groove forming processing is applied to gypsum 12 to form grooves each having a width and depth of 50X50mum at a pitch of 125mum and a copper wire (diameter 50mum) is inlaid with each groove as an elongated conductor to be pressed and fixed by the same gypsum 13 as the gypsum 12. Because an electrode needle may be fine, high densification is enabled and, because gypsum is used as the fixing material of the electrode needle, the fixing material is not changed by heat generated at the time of printing and, because of the stability and flexibility of the fixing material, high grade printing is enabled without damaging a recording body. |
