PURPOSE:To change the setting of the memory contents only in a desired mode for inspection, etc. by using a monitor which is started by a prescribed external signal and can change the setting of the memory contents in a prescribed area according to a change command signal for setting of memory contents. CONSTITUTION:A monitor 25 is provided with a communication part 27, an address input storing part 29, an address comparison part 31, a changed data storing part 33, a read-out data storing part 35, a memory writing part 37 and a memory reading part 39. When the external signal and a memory change command signal are sent from a service tool 21, it is decided whether or not these input signals indicate the change of the memory contents and also the addresses designated by these input signals are included in a prescribed address range. When it is decided that the memory contents of a command address can be changed, the contents of the designated area (address) are set and then displayed on a display part of the tool 21 for confirmation. |
