PURPOSE:To obtain a product suitable for a space instrument by specifying the orientation and rolling direction of the plane of a sheet stock in the stage of subjecting a ferrous single crystal sheet or coarse crystal grain sheet having the compsn. of which the metallic structure forms a ferrite single crystal to cold rolling and annealing to obtain an electrical steel sheet having cubic structure. CONSTITUTION:A bar is formed by forging from a steel ingot consisting of, for example, 3% Si-Fe alloy. The bar is finished to the machined bar and the single crystal is manufactured therefrom by a known Bridgman method to obtain the the bar of the single crystal. The single crystal plate adjusted in such a manner that the {114} face of the single crystal is within 15 deg. with the sheet plane is cut out of such bar. The plate is cold rolled at >=40% draft in the direction within 15 deg. around the {401} direction and is then annealed under the conditions under which the secondary recrystallization does not arise to obtain the primary recrystal grain structure having <=5mm average crystal grain size. The electrical steel sheet of the ideal cubic orientation structure having the axis of easy magnetization <100> in the rolling direction of the steel sheet and in the direction perpendicular thereto is thus industrially obtd. |
