PURPOSE:The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a specific vinyl compound polymer with propylene polymer and capable of remarkably improving the crystallinity without deteriorating characteristics of the propylene polymer. CONSTITUTION:A composition containing (A) 100pts.wt. crystalline propylene polymer and (B) a polymer obtained by polymerizing a vinyl compound expressed by the formula (n is an integer 0-10; R is cyclic hydrocarbon having at least one double bond expressed by the formula C=C) in the presence of a coordination anionic polymerization catalyst and hydrogenating the resultant polymer in an amount of 0.05-1,000wt. ppm. Examples of the vinyl compound in the component (B) to be used include styrene, allylbenzene, etc., and the polymer of the vinyl compound is hydrogenated in the presence of a catalyst, e.g. nickel, at a high hydrogenation ratio to give a polymer having >=3,00, preferably >=10,000 number-average molecular weight, which is used. |
